New Star  has announced the opening of Jamestown Cinema 14 on Friday, located at 209 Jamestown Mall , a movie theatre showing first-run films. Ticket prices will be $7 for adults and $5 for children and senior citizens.

The theatre will offer birthday party packages and be available for rental to host corporate events, parties, and other special events.  According to owner and president, Kimberly Kolkmeyer, “We are so excited to be in Florissant and be part of this community. We are thrilled to bring first run movies to the Jamestown Cinema and keep prices affordable for families. We have also lowered concession prices to make the entire movie-going experience affordable for the whole family.”

To kick off the summer, Jamestown Cinema 14 will host a Free Summer Kids Series every Tuesday and Wednesday morning  at 10 a.m.  through July 24.  Seating is first come first serve and large groups are advised to call ahead and make reservations at 314-438-1358
