The State of Missouri is celebrating Local Government Week April 28 – May 4. In honor of this, Black Jack Mayor Norm McCourt, host of the National Award Winning TV Series City Limits, has produced a half hour TV documentary that highlights the impact of local, state and federal government on the community.

The show features interviews with state reps, state senators and local municipal leaders speaking on how they interact with local citizens. The show can be seen on the Gateway Television News Network on Charter Channel 994 or AT&T U-Verse on Channel 99 and can be watched on video on demand at www.gtntv.com.

Mayor Norm McCourt said in a statement, “As we celebrate Local Government Week be sure to thank your local government representatives for the job they do representing you and your families. Remember that you elect your local government officials to represent your interests.  If you elect a star or you elect a clown, the choice is up to you, but you will have to live with that choice”.
