In attendance were Mayor Tom Schneider, Director of Parks and Recreation Todd Schmidt, Center Director Janice Steib, City Forester Doug Shelley, 2nd graders from Parker Road Elementary School and the members of the Gardeners of Florissant Club.

This is the 24th year that the City of Florissant has been recognized as a member of Tree City USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation.

The City of Florissant urges all citizens to support efforts to protect the trees and woodlands and to support the City’s urban forestry program.
