GNC Chamber & City of Florissant to host Business Fair, ‘Taste of North County’

The public is invited to attend the 25th Anniversary of the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce Business Showcase, co-sponsored by the City of Florissant.

The event will be on Saturday, March 23, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the James J. Eagan Community Center in Florissant. There is no charge to attend the Business Showcase.

Presenting Sponsors are Christian Hospital, Delmar Gardens North & Garden Villas North and Schnucks Markets. Booth Sponsor is Crystal Creek Health & Rehabilitation Center.

New to the event this year is the “Taste of North County,” featuring local restaurants. An area of the community center will be roped off for this event. For a nominal fee of $5 for adults, $2 for children under 12, the public will be able to sample some of the great cuisine available in North County.

Participating restaurants to date include Catering to You, Cornerstone Bakery, Cugino’s Restaurant, DeLeo’s Café & Deli, Helfer’s Pastries & Deli,  Hendel’s Market Café, Papa Murphy’s Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza, Pirrone’s Pizzeria, The Rice House, and Yacovelli’s Restaurant & Banquet Center.

The City of Florissant that day will open its pool and game room to anyone (resident or non-resident) who attends the event for the cost of a resident’s fee only.
