The Bridge at Florissant to Host Family Fun Weekend to Help Officer Mike Vernon

The Bridge at Florissant Assisted Living Community will host a Fund Raising Family Fun weekend Oct. 6 and 7 with proceeds to benefit Officer Mike Vernon.

Officer Vernon is the Florissant Police Officer wounded in the line of duty in May. He recently received a Purple Heat and was honored at the Florissant City Council meeting.

The Family Fun Weekend will include music, live entertainment, food, carnival games,  craft and vendor booths, silent auction, raffle and 50/50 drawing.

The event will be held both Saturday, Oct 6 and Sunday, Oct 7, noon-5 p.m., each day at The Bridge at Florissant Assisted Living Community.

Table vendors: Secure a table to sell your products for a $40. a day donation. Goods or services donated that can be auctioned off at the Silent Auction Equipment donations (to be used for the duration of the event).

Tents, tables, chairs and port-a-potties to be used during the event. Entertainers willing to donate their time and performance are sought as well as monetary donations.

Volunteers  should contact Georgia Rehme at 314-831-0988 to donate equipment use or to purchase a vendor table. Monetary Donations can be made to the Florissant Police Welfare Association c/o Mike Vernon.Event
