The North County Youth Task Force was organized by North County Churches Uniting for Racial Harmony and Justice (NCCU) with the cooperation of Jamestown Mall. Its mission is “To meet the challenges youth present to malls, schools, and communities.”
“We hope to do this by engaging them in positive programs and activities to counteract some of the negative images and negative things we hear about youth,” said Rance Thomas “Our goad is to present these awardees as role models for other youth and expect that they will be able to be an inspiration to other youth in North County.”
The North County Youth Task Force is still seeking sponsors for our annual Youth Appreciation Dinner. For further information, please contact Rance Thomas at 238-6828 or Rev. Tim Hughes at 435-7719
