5th Annual Shamrock Ball Supports Valley Industries

The Bob Kuban Band will be playing top song hits from different musical genres to keep the dance floor busy all night.

Mayors Norm McCourt of Black Jack, Tom Schneider of Florissant, and Matt Robinson of Hazelwood are hosting the Fifth Annual Mayor’s Shamrock Ball on Saturday, March 3 at Garden Villas North, from 6:30 – 11.

The ball is a formal “green tie” event. The evening will include Irish food, open bar and entertainment by Bob Kuban. The King and Queen, Valley Industries’ Workers of the Year 2011 Ivory Harris and William Becker, will also be crowned at the ball.

Six restaurants and catering services will be providing the hors d’oeuvres and food at this year’s Shamrock Ball. A shamrock ice scupture graced the ball last year.

All proceeds will go to Valley Industries which  employs over 200 workers with developmental disabilities at their facility in Hazelwood.

The public can purchase tickets online or by mail for this premier green tie affair, but the amount sold is limited to 500.
