Diana Gulotta, assistant superintendent for communications and media relations, was selected president of the Missouri School Public Relations Association, or MOSPRA, starting in the 2011-2012 school year. Gulotta is completing her sixth year in the District.

“I think it’s an honor to be elected and represent the Hazelwood School District on the state level,” she said.

“I’m excited about it because MOSPRA is a very energetic and active school public relations chapter and the organization is doing some really good things, such as hosting a fall conference and co-hosting a spring conference as well as providing additional opportunities for school public relations professionals to receive important professional development.”

MOSPRA is the Missouri state chapter of the “http://www.nspra.org” National School Public Relations Association..

Gulotta served two years as MOSPRA membership chair and two years as its treasurer. Officer positions with MOSPRA are volunteer positions. She starts her new position on July 1.
