Ferguson-Florissant N.E.A Ratifies 3.49% Wage Increase

The Ferguson-Florissant National Education Association Tuesday ratified the administration’s offer of a 3.49 percent pool increase for the 2011-12 school year.
Administrators will recommend that the Board of Education approve the offer at its April 13 meeting.
“In these trying times, it feels good to be able to reward employees for the invaluable work they do,” said Board President Les Lentz. “We want them to know how much they are appreciated.”
The recommendation is the result of weeks of talks between Ferguson-Florissant     administrators and the NEA’s negotiation team.
“We appreciate the time NEA members and administrators invested in this process and are pleased to have been able to work so well together,” Lentz said.
If approved by the board, the increase will take effect on July 1 for the 2011-12 academic year.
