Chamber of Commerce Honors Diana Weidinger

The Greater North County Chamber of Commerce last Thursday honored long-time executive director (later president) Diana Weidinger (center) on her retirement after serving as director for 25 years.  Current members and many past chamber members— when it was known as the Florissant Valley Chamber— came out to honor Diana along with her husband Jack (to Diana’s right) , children and grand-children at the elaborate event, hosted by Delmar Gardens Villas.  Diana was presented with flowers, gifts and cards and the traditional gold watch, given by  Rich Henefer of Don Henefer Jewelers. Mayor Robert Lowery presented her a proclamation from the city and several past board chairmen spoke on all the attributes and accomplishments Diana brought to Florissant and North County.
