Home Turf Friendly For Rams, But Beware of Falcons

BY RANDY GARDNER

Here we go again as fans, watching the carousel of emotions as this St. Louis Rams team continues to find a way to give games away.

I guess you could say that the Rams had every opportunity to win this game but on the other hand, they  had every opportunity to lose the game and lose it badly as San Fran had three touchdowns called back on penalties. The game and the season are there for the Rams taking but they can’t let games like that against a 2-6 Division opponent slip away.

Now the team will come home and play the 7-2 Atlanta Falcons. The Rams play well at home but I am not sure that we have enough to beat the Falcons. It is really funny how the expectations for this team went from just winning a few games this season to now competing for a Division Championship.   That’s still an achievable goal. As fans, let’s just take what we can get. Anything is better than the last three years. Playoffs or not, we are much better off as a franchise right now, that is if we can keep the $50 million dollar man in the lineup, Sam Bradford.

Early  Thanksgiving Blessing

Can you believe that it is already close to Thanksgiving. The year has flown by and is almost over. I know this is the week before the Holiday but I want you to stop and think about what the day means, Thanks is the crucial part of the word Thanksgiving. Stop and be thankful for all of the great things you have in your life, especially your family.

If you are struggling with anything, remember that it could always be worse and that a positive attitude will get you through anything. Nothing is as bad as it seems and nothing is really as good as it seems. Stop and smell the roses and enjoy everyday as it could change or end in a flash.

I know it really sounds crazy but as you sit and enjoy Thanksgiving dinner, really stop and listen to all of the family stories and realize that you have the greatest gift of all right in front of you, life and your family. Oh yeah, and it’s a great day for watching a little football and stuffing your face, too.
