McCluer North, Incarnate Word, Trinity Top Softball District Seeds, Finals Oct.

McCluer North High School, Incarnate Word Academy and Trinity Catholic High School are the top seeds in District Softball, which began Oct. 6 and will close Oct. 8.

McCluer North will host Class Four, District Six, IWA will host Class Four, District Five and Trinity will be in Class Three, District Five hosted by Lutheran High School North. The Championship games Oct. 8 are at 4 p.m. at McCluer North and IWA and 4:15 at Lutheran North.

McCluer North will play Oct. 7, 4 p.m., at home against the winner of the Oct. 6 game between Hazelwood Central and McCluer. The Other Oct. 7, 4 p.m. semifinal pits the winner of the other Oct. 6 games — Hazelwood West or Hazelwood East against Pattonville or Riverview Gardens, at site determined by the semifinal participants.

IWA will play at home Oct. 7, 4 p.m. against the winner of the Oct. 6 game between Ritenour and Ladue. Also on Oct. 7 at 4 p.m. the winner of the other Oct 6 games — St. Joseph’s Academy or Normandy against Rosati-Kain or University City — will play on Rosati-Kain’s home field (which could be Harris-Stowe State University or Forest Park).

Trinity was to play Jennings and Lutheran North was to play McCluer South-Berkeley on Oct. 6 with the winners playing on Oct. 8 at LHSN.

The District Six winners, including Class Three, District Six will host the District Five winners in the Sectional Round on Oct. 13 with those winners playing in the Quarterfinal Round, Oct. 16 at sites determined after Oct. 13.
