JEFFREY SPIEGEL, Supt., Ferguson-Florissant School District
Ferguson-Florissant School District Supt. Jeffrey Spiegel has been named the St. Louis Region New Superintendent of Schools for 2007 by the Missouri Association of School Administrators (MASA). MASA presents an award annually to one superintendent in each of its eight districts across the state who demonstrates the best in educational leadership. The awards are given to educators who are in their second or third year as superintendent.

“By selecting Spiegel for this honor, MASA confirms what those of us who work with him already know: he is passionately dedicated to our district, its employees, and the children we serve,” said Leslie Hogshead, president, Ferguson-Florissant School Board of Education.

“The fact that he was selected for this award by his fellow superintendents in the St. Louis region makes his recognition even more meaningful,” said Hogshead.
