F-F School Board Earns State Leadership Award

The Ferguson-Florissant Board of Education is one of six Missouri districts to earn the Missouri School Boards’ Association’s 2010 Education Leadership Team award.

The honorees were selected from Missouri’s 523 public school districts based on outstanding commitment to professional development, regional and statewide leadership, active participation in legislative advocacy and successful implementation of transformative education policy.

David Lineberry, associate executive director of the Missouri School Boards’ Association, called the award “a rare distinction.” He added, “Your continued commitment to board improvement and leadership serve as examples to school board members throughout Missouri.”

The 2010 Education Leadership Team award winners will be recognized at the association’s Leadership Summit in Columbia in June.
