Frank “Tom” Korte, one of Old Town’s most respected businessmen, died Thursday, March 25 after a battle with cancer.  He was 58.

Internment was at Sacred Heart Cemetery following services at Sacred Heart Church where he and his wife Patricia were members.

Korte’s frame and gift shop has been located in Old Town Florissant since 1946. It was known as the place in the area for custom framing and where you buy tickets, Florissant products, and get information about Florissant and Old Town events. Tom was always available to meet and talk with customers.

Mr. Korte was a member of VFW Post 4105 and the Knights of Columbus Duchesne #2951.
