In an effort to recognize outstanding students for their efforts, the Florissant Rotary Club has begun inviting students to their weekly luncheons. Brian Grady, a junior at Hazelwood Central High School, was recently recognized during a meeting at Yacovelli’s Restaurant.

“I felt privileged and that I had accomplished something after being recognized by the Rotary organization,” Grady said. “It was an honor to be considered an outstanding student by the organization. I believe it is very important for local civic organizations to recognize and honor the work of the students. This gives me a greater incentive to continue working hard, in and out of the classroom.”
