American Eagle Credit Union’s Florissant Branch will subsidize the cost of printing programs for the St. Louis Family Theatre Series at the Florissant Civic Center Theatre. This contribution will create a first-time distribution of theatre programs to every child who attends the field trip student matinees.
To keep admission prices at a minimum, threatre programs for students at the weekday field trip matinees were unavailable until this donation. This program also serves family audiences at weekend performances of touring children’s theatre companies.
Now in its 22nd season, the St. Louis Family Theatre Series is a partnership between the Junior League of St. Louis and the City of Florissant. The Series receives support from the Arts and Education Council of Greater St. Louis, the Employees Community Fund of Boeing St. Louis, the City of Florissant, Junior League of St. Louis, Missouri Arts Council, the Regional Arts Commission, and now American Eagle Credit Union.
“It has long been a desire of the St. Louis Family Theatre Series to share this information with all of the students who attend these field trips and now, thanks to the generosity of our new good neighbor, American Eagle Credit Union, it is possible,” said Mayor Robert Lowery.
