Florissant Valley Branch Library Holds Financial Aid Programs for Students

The Florissant Valley Branch of St. Louis County Library, 195 N. Florissant Rd., South, will offer four opportunities in February to learn more about financial aid for higher education. The Library, in conjunction with the St. Louis Scholarship Foundation, will host two programs on the Federal Applications for Student Financial Aid (FAFSA) and two financial aid workshops in February.

These programs will be very useful for students preparing to enter college in the near future. The programs are free, but registration is required for each of the programs. To register, call 314 994-3300.

Wednesday, February 3 and 17, at 6  p.m. a FASFA Workshop. The St. Louis Scholarship Foundation will help answer all questions pertaining to the Federal Application for Student Financial Aid (FASFA). After a short presentation, attendees will be given computer time to work on applications for financial aid. Student advocates will be available to assist parents and students with the application process. Registration required.

Wednesday, Feb 10 and 24, 6 p.m.. Financial Aid Workshop. The St. Louis Scholarship Foundation will help answer all of your questions pertaining to applying for financial aid. After a short presentation, attendees will be given time to work on applications and explore useful websites. There will be student advocates available to help answer questions. Recommended for ages 12-18. Registration limited. Registration required.
