Document Destruction and Recycling Event in Florissant

                  

CITY OF FLORISSANT TO HOST RECYCLING EVENT

WITH MIDWEST RECYCLING CENTER APRIL 26

Mayor im  Tim Lowery has  announced that the City of Florissant has joined up with MRC Recycling again to host a Document Destruction and Recycling Event on Saturday, April 26t, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The event will be held in St. Ferdinand Park, rain or shine. Signs will be posted throughout the park, directing people where to go. This event is open to the public.

   What to bring to be shredded: bank statements, tax records, credit card statements, invoices, and anything with your name and address on it. There is no need to remove paper clips, binder clips, or staples. Please note that MRC will collect all of the documents and paper for destruction and recycling in gaylord boxes to maximize the capacity of material collection and the flow of traffic. Documents will not be shredded on-site, they will be collected and transported to MRC’s facility to be destructed there.If you have any questions regarding a specific item, or the process itself, please get in touch with MRC Recycling at 636-223-0150 or www.mrcrecycling.net.

Midwest Recycling Center will have equipment and staff available to assist with the drop-off process. This event has been very successful in the past. Mayor Lowery encourages all residents to take part.
