Saint Louis County Announces Housing

Resource Commission Grant Awardees

Saint Louis County Department of Human Services proudly announces the recipients of the Housing Resource Commission FY2025 grant, totaling $444,383.43. This funding will support crucial services for people and families experiencing homelessness or facing imminent risk of homelessness within Saint Louis County.

“These awards reflect Saint Louis County’s ongoing commitment to addressing homelessness and providing essential resources to those in need,” said Ambur Banner, director of Human Services. “We are proud to partner with these outstanding agencies to deliver life-changing

services to our community.”

The grant will fund the following service components emergency shelter, coordinated entry, rapid

rehousing, and street outreach. Through these critical services, the grant aims to provide comprehensive support for vulnerable families and individuals in the community.

The following agencies have been awarded:

  • Street Outreach: Covenant House
  • Rapid Rehousing: Employment Connection
  • Coordinated Entry: United Way of Greater St. Louis
  • Emergency Shelter Providers:

o Gateway Homeless Services, Inc.

o Loaves and Fishes for St. Louis

o Our Lady’s Inn

o Peter and Paul Community Services

o Room at the Inn

o Salvation Army

o Women’s Safe House
