Senior Tax Freeze Applications

Since last week’s launch of Saint Louis County’s Senior Tax Freeze application, the Department of Revenue has received 10,814 applications. More than 9,200 of the applications submitted in the first week have been completed

through the County’s quick and convenient online application portal.

“The fact that we’ve already seen more than 10,000 applications submitted in just the first week speaks to both the need for this relief and the efficiency with which our Department of Revenue has responded in launching the Senior Tax Freeze application,” said County Executive Dr. Sam Page. “And we’re glad to see the majority of folks take advantage of

filling out the application online.”

The application deadline is June 30, 2025.

In-person assistance is available at select County Government Center locations Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.:

Mailed in or dropped off paper documents will NOT be accepted during the application period. Residents are also encouraged to check out the Frequently Asked Questions section of the Senior Tax Freeze website.
