The annual Christmas Concert at St. Ferdinand Shrine will be Sunday Dec. 13 from 3-5 p.m. This year there will be four groups providing Christmas Music: Florissant Valley Baptist Church, the Singers from St. Ferdinand Parish, school children from St. Rose Philippine Duchesne and soloist guitarist Steve Barat.

The Florissant Valley Baptist Church  12–member Praise Choir under the Tammy Stevenson will be performing “Born a Savior, Born a King” – The Prophecy Fulfilled   Composed by Joh Purifoy.

The St. Ferdinand Singers under the direction of Mary Halford-Krummey will be presenting a program of music with the theme “He Is The Light of The World”.

The school children of St. Rose Philippine Duchesne will be singing traditional Christmas music.  Our fourth musical presentation will be Steve Barat erforming as a solo guitarist.. There is no admission charge.

The Church will be decorated for Christmas and will be a beautiful setting for the Christmas Concert.   Following the Concert light refreshments will be served in the schoolhouse.
