Local Veterans chapter honor Mark Behlmann

Vietnam Veterans honor Mark Behlmann for all his volunteer work for the chapter

Mark Behlmann was recently honored by the local chapter of Vietnam Veterans of America. Mark has been assisting the locak chapter for several years.

Walter Kaiseer of VVA said, he recalls the first t was when Mark brought in his construction crew and set up the foundation for the moving of Vietnam Wall in 2003, and the path from the entrance of the park. There was information tents back then on to a path in front of the wall. “This was done at NO cost to the chapter or the city and when the wall was taken down they cleaned up the area again at no cost,” said Kaiser.

Since that time Behlmann has pulled a trailer load of Vietnam Veterans in every community parade at no cost to the chapter. Mark said it’s his way of honoring our chapter.
