25th Anniversary for Florissant Old Town Festival in 2022

Many New events planned at  Florissant Fall Festival Oct. 9

October means cooler weather, falling leaves, pumpkins and apples, and famous fall events— none better than the Florissant Old Town Fall Festival, which annually draws over 30,000 people every year’s second Sunday of October. Two years ago COVID forced cancellation of the festival but it came back strong last year, even without some crowd favorites. This Sunday, Oct. 9, the fun returns on St. Francois Street with many of the traditional festival activities such as pumpkin decorating, craft fair, flea market, pony rides, car show and tractor display, dog show, plenty of food concessions and even more live music .

The event will begin at 10 a.m. and shut down at 5 p.m. on rue St. Francios St. A helicopter landing will happen on St. Ferdinand St. at noon, followed by a (house) burn demonstration by the Florissant Valley firefighters at 1 p.m.

The Government Building, City Hall, Made by. Lia Dooley’s Florist, Steve Robbins, Stem’s Florist and the Lawyer’s Building will all have live entertainment throughout the day. The Florissant Fall Festival is organized by the dedicated volunteers on the Fall Festival Committee.
