Resurfacing Work Starts in June
Mayor Tim Lowery has announced that St. Louis County Department of Transportation has awarded the contract for roadway improvements to Graham Road – St. Ferdinand Street to Pace Construction. The project limits for this site are from Dunn Road to Lindbergh. The project work will start in early June.
The project is funded by St. Louis County funds and will be accomplished without additional direct cost to residents. The project provides for removal and replacement of integral concrete curb and sidewalk, installation of combination curb and sidewalk, sidewalk curb ramps and paved approaches, pavement surfacing and texturing; asphalt over; sodding and other incidental items.
Most construction work performed will generally take place between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. weekdays, however, paving operations are scheduled to take place at night. Lane restrictions will be in place at various times and locations, but no complete street closures are anticipated.
The resurfacing project is projected to be completed by the fall of 2020.
