WHITE AUTO BODY will be giving away two “new” cars on Tuesday, Dec. 12 at the Florissant and O’Fallon, Mo. locations. The give away program is sponsored by ACOAT Selected National Benevolence Program, The cars are presented to organizations or individuals with transportation needs that meet certain criteria.
The collision repair industry comes across cars that are deemed a total loss by either the car owner or their insurance company. Some of these cars still have the capability of serving as a reliable means of transportation. However, because of extensive damage, high mileage, or age, these cars are not repaired and put back into circulation.
Members of Acoat Selected, an international association of collision repair shops, recognized that many of these cars could be refurbished and used as safe reliable modes of transportation. The result was the formation of the Acoat Selected National Benevolence Program.

Florissant residents DENNIS LE HOUILLIER and GENE & DONNA SMITH will participate in the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship held in Long Beach, California Dec. 2-3.
The event will be broadcast live by Animal Planet and the Discovery Channel, starting at 8 p.m. (eastern standard time) both nights.
