50 Safest Cities in MO

Security-based review, comparison and news site, Security Baron, analyzed FBI rankings of crime rates to find out what the top 50 safest cities are in Missouri, and what their safety score is.

The analysis found that Florissant (with a population of 51,693) emerged on the list, with an average safety score of 76.84 and a rate of 2.09 violent crimes per 1,000 citizens. The city also has a citizen-to-officer ratio of 1.72 per 1,000 people and an average income of $52,532. Additionally, there are 20,542 households in Florissant and a rate of 20.02 property crimes per 1,000 citizens.

It was also found that the safest city in Missouri is Bonne Terre, with a safety score of 90.34 and an average income of $50,654. Bonne Terre has a rate of 0.7 violent crimes per 1,000 citizens – it’s highly unlikely you’ll be a victim of crime here! The city also has a citizen-to-officer ratio of 1.53 per 1,000 people and there are 1,612 households in Bonne Terre on average.

By comparison, it was found that Carl Junction ranked last on the list, with a safety score of 75.1 and a median income of $55,000. The city in Jasper County has a rate of 3.56 violent crimes per 1,000 citizens, along with a citizen-to-officer ratio of 1.53 per 1,000 people.
