‘Music Under The Stars’
2019 Summer Concert Series Set
The City of Florissant will once again host their free outdoor concert series, “Music Under the Stars.” Starting Thursday, July 4 with the Northwinds Concert Band, under the direction of Larry Marsh, patriotic marches and hits from Broadway and film will precede the Independence Day fireworks in the Florissant Valley Park by the James J. Eagan Center at 7 :30 p.m. All other performances will take place at St. Ferdinand Park by the lake. Food trucks and ice cream every Saturday.

Steve Ewing Band- Saturday, July 20 – 7 p.m. Lead singer of the URGE and his band perform classic covers, new independent releases & URGE favorites.
Smashband Superhits –Saturday, July 27 – 7 p.m.Ten-piece band playing the hits of the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s.
The Abbey Road Warriors –Saturday, Aug. 3 – 7 p.m.A celebration of the Beatles’ music that many of us grew up with and love so dearly.
Billy Peek– Saturday, Aug. 10 – 7 p.m. Legendary Rock & Blues guitarist.
Butch Wax and the Hollywoods- Saturday, Aug. 17 – 7 p.m. One of the hottest shows in town, songs of the 50s, 60s & 70s, Motown, R & B and Rock ‘N’ Roll
South Side Johnny Band – Saturday, Aug. 24 – 7 p.m. A blend of music that combines a variety of pop/rock, oldies, Motown, and dance party classics.
Rockin’ Chair – Saturday, Aug. 31 – 7 p.m. Featuring Crosby Stills & Nash, The Eagles, Jackson Browne, Poco, Loggins & Messina.
Fanfare Featuring Kittie Moller– Saturday, Sept. 21 – 5 p.m. at the Suicide Prevention Fundraiser and Glow Run. A variety of music from Motown, R & B, Pop, Country and Standards, plus Jazz and Big Band!
Bob Kuban Brass- Sunday, Oct. 13 – 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Popular Music from the 60’s to the present and his Billboard mega hit “The Cheater.” Performing at the Fall Festival in the 100 block of Rue St. Francois.
