HAZELWOOD ADULT EGG HUNT APRIL 12

Hazelwood’s 15th Annual Adult Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled for Friday, April 12, at White Birch Park (1186 Teson Road) from 7-9 p.m. The hunt grounds will be located in the back of the Community Center this year with parking available in the upper lot. All participants must be age 21 and over.

Tickets are limited and can be purchased at Civic Center East or the Hazelwood Community Center. They will be available until April 5 or until they are sold out. Ticket prices are $12 for residents or $15 for non-residents. Registration starts in the Warming Room behind the building at 7 p.m. and the hunt begins at approximately 8 p.m. Participants should bring a flashlight and a container to search for thousands of hidden eggs with a limited number of them containing prizes.

Each person will be limited to finding 12 eggs. Prizes might be household items, electronics, and fun stuff . A DJ will be on hand to play popular tunes throughout the event. Guests can bring their own beverages, coolers lawn chairs, etc. But please leave the glass containers at home. The event will be held rain or shine.

UNDERWATER EASTER EGG HUNT APRIL 12

Take egg hunting to the water in this “egg”–citing event at the James J. Eagan Center on Friday, April 12! Price includes egg hunt and open swim. Open to children ages 7-14. Pre-registration required. Egg hunt will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. Stay after for open swim 7-9PM.

EASTER BUNNY & KIDS’ EGG HUNT AT FCC ON APRIL 13

The Easter Bunny will be hopping in to Florissant on Saturday, April 13 at the James J. Eagan Center from 10 a.m. to noon. The egg hunt will begin promptly at 11:45 a.m. Children can enjoy a few fun activities and visit with the Easter Bunny before heading outside for an Easter Egg Hunt.

The egg hunt will be split into the following age groups (2 & under, 2-5, 6-8 and 9-12. Tickets are required and must be purchased in advance. The cost for residents is $2 and non-residents is $5 (available 3/25 if supplies last). Call 921-4466 or 921-4250 for more information

EASTER EGG DECORATING AT EAGAN CENTER APRIL 17

Keep the mess out of your house and give your child a chance to dye and decorate eggs alongside some new friends on Wednesday, April 17 at the James J. Eagan Center, rooms A and B. Each child will be given one dozen eggs to decorate and take home. Dye and other fun decorations will be provided, along with a light snack and drink. They may even be in for a visit from Easter Bunny!

Time 1: 5:30 – 6:15 p.m.

Time 2: 6:30 – 7:15 p.m.

The price for residents is $5 and for non-residents is $7. (Available 3/25.) Tickets available at the JJE & JFK Centers.

EASTER EGGSTRAVAGANZA AT WHITE BIRCH PARK APRIL 20

This Easter event attracts hundreds of people from all areas of North County. The City of Hazelwood’s Easter Eggstravaganza is on Saturday, April 20, at White Birch Park. Starting time is 10 am SHARP! Admission is free and open to the public.

Nearly 14,000 eggs will be scattered throughout the park. The park will also be divided up into five sections for the following age groups: Under 24 months; ages 2-3; ages 4-5; ages 6-7; and ages 8-10. In addition, raffles for one boy bike and one girl bike will be held for each age group.

During the event, Mr. Easter Bunny will be hopping around the park greeting all the kids, passing out candy and posing for photos.
