The Nina and Pinta, replicas of Christopher Columbus’ ships will be open to the public for touring at the Alton Marina through Sunday, Aug. 30, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. daily. Alton Block Party will be held from 4-10:30 p.m. on Third Street in Downtown Alton (between Piasa & State streets). The Glendale Riders will be rockin’ Third Street with live music and dancing in the streets all night long.
