Manneke and his wife Holly work together. They currently have a food truck. He said he was looking forward to having the building. He said he had brought the food truck to Florissant on several occasions.

Councilman Gerard Henke had Marius Palmer, the owner, speak to the council. Henke said that he had discussed the business with Palmer on the phone and they had talked about restricting used tired sales to 10 percent of the business. He said he wanted the rest of the council to know they had talked and Palmer had agreed to the stipulations.
Henke said he was also concerned about cars being out in the lot. He said he may want to add a stipulation to the bill to prevent customer cars from sitting on the lot for more than a certain number of days.
The council held a first reading on the bill that would approve the special use permit transfer. Henke said he would work with City Attorney John Hessel to make changes to the bill to restrict tire sales and keep cars off the lot for extended times.

The council held a first reading on a bill that would allow the change.
In other matters, the council: Postponed a second reading on a bill that would adjust fees for the golf course and held a first reading on a bill that would amend certain job grade levels.
