St. Ferdinand Park Lake Renovation

Improvements Underway

One of the provisions of renovating St. Ferdinald Park Lake is to remove years of sediment that will result in a deeper lake in the center with new oxygenation systems. Work was being done on the lake over the first January weekend. Included will also be two new, lighted fountains to help provide a healthier aquatic environment and prevent summer fish kill episodes. Florissant officials anticipate the work will be completed by spring so the lake can be restocked with fish in time for summer and the summer concert series. ~Bob Lindsey photo
