Christian Hospital Foundation to Recognize Area Community Leaders at Legacy Dinner

Christian Hospital   The Christian Hospital Foundation will honor community leaders at its ninth annual Legacy Leaders Dinner on Thursday, Oct. 26, at Norwood Hills Country Club.

Kelvin R. Westbrook, Chair of BJC HealthCare Board of Directors, will be the master of ceremonies for the event.

Gerald W. Moritz, MD, will be recognized with the Physician of the Year Award. This award is bestowed upon a physician who has dedicated much of their career to serving patients at Christian Hospital with compassion and expertise.

Jim Guyre is the Community Vision Award recipient. Mr. Guyre is being recognized as a community member who has created economic opportunities to further the North County area’s presence in the region.

Thomas F. George, PhD, will receive the Paul F. Detrick Legacy Leaders Award. This award honors an individual whose impact and commitment has left a legacy in the North County community.

The Salvation Army and Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis will receive the Carpe Diem Award to recognize each organization for recognizing needs in the community and choosing to ‘seize the day’ and take action to provide necessary resources in North County.
