Annual Awards Dinner is Oct. 8

North County Churches will be honoring some outstanding individuals and organizations within North St. Louis County at its annual awards ceremony on Sunday, Oct. 8.

These include awards for:

Outstanding Leadership Awards:

Thomas George, Chancellor of UMSL and

Rick Stevens, president of Christian Hospital

Community Service Awards:

North County Incorporated

Florissant Valley Kiwanis

North Star Scouting District

Outstanding Education Award:

Kimberly McKenzie, director of communication at Hazelwood School District

President’s Award to St. Norbert Catholic Church

Master of Ceremonies for the event will be Rev. Cedric Portis, pastor of Third Presbyterian Church. Keynote speaker will be State Senator Gina Walsh.

The event will include a dinner and be held in the Atrium in the Paul F. Detrick Building at Christian Hospital on October 8 at 4 p.m. with registration at 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 each Call Mrs. Kim Chandler at 921-5833 or Rance Thomas at 921-7364.
