Roar of Racing Go-Karts in Hazelwood

The Rusty Wallace Karting Center experience has made its way to the St.Louis Outlet Mall, in Hazelwood bringing with it not only the scent of motor oil, but a breath of fresh air that the outlet mall desperately needed.

Located behind the Blues Ice Zone where the Nascar Speedpark used to be, this new center offers two racetracks plus mini golf and bumper boats. In addition, there is a small arcade center featuring air hockey, prize claw machines and a cabinet based on The Fast and The Furious.

Bumper Boats are also located at the new Rusty Wallace Karting Center. There’s also mini Golf and a small indoor arcade.

Mark Ebert, president and CEO of RWRC, explained that this particular site was advantageous in constructing tracks geared toward giving racers the adrenaline rush they are often looking for.

“Most of them (other race tracks) have flat tracks. The one here at the mall has banked tracks, which can handle the speeds of our European-style karts…our karts can reach speeds of 40 to 50 mph on it.”

“We look forward to a great racing experience for everyone in greater St.Louis,” said Rusty Wallace. “The Sodi karts are state of the art and really fast on the big track, the smaller track combined with mini-golf and Bumper Boats make this a true family destination,” said Wallace.

RWKC hours are Monday thru Thursday from 12-9pm, Saturdays 10am-11pm, Sundays 12- 9pm. You can visit the website at rustywallacekarting.com/or call 314-473-1475.
