The City of Florissant and Florissant Fine Arts Council will again present Music Under the Stars concerts; a series of free outdoor concerts. Most of the concerts will take place at St. Ferdinand Park. The July 4 concert will be at Florissant Valley Park (this is the park that contains the James J. Eagan Center). Bob Kuban returns for the Oct. 8 concert at the Old Town Fall Festival in the 100 block of St. Francois.

July 4, Tues: Northwinds Concert Band, Independence Day Concert outdoors at Civic Center.

July 15, Sat: Rockin’ Chair at St. Ferdinand Park

July 22, Sat: SSJ Band at St. Ferdinand Park

July 29, Sat: Butch Wax & The Hollywoods with Theo Peoples at St. Ferdinand Park

Aug. 5, Sat: SmashBand Superhits at St. Ferdinand Park

Aug. 12, Sat: Billy Peek Bandat St. Ferdinand Park

Aug.19, Sat: Fanfare Band featuring Kittie Moller at St. Ferdinand Park

Aug. 26, Sat: Boeing Employees Concert Band at St. Ferdinand Park

Oct. 8, Sun: Bob Kuban Brass at the Old Town Fall Festival

   All concerts held in St. Ferdinand Park will start at 7 p.m. The July 4 concert will start at 7:30. The Old Town Festival concerts with the Bob Kuban Brass will be held at 1 and 3 p.m. Concertgoers should bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. Light refreshments will be available.
