The Board of Directors for North County Incorporated (NCI), a regional development association, has elected Scott Negwer, president, Negwer Materials, Inc., as the organization’s chairman of the Board of Directors for 2017. This is a one-year term beginning January 1, 2017. Negwer succeeds Sean Hogan, who served as NCI’s Board of Directors Chairman in 2016.

Negwer has served as President of Negwer Materials, Inc. since 1995.

Negwer earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Blackburn College and is a graduate of Lutheran High School North. Negwer has been an NCI board member since January 2015 and was previously on the board of directors from 2001 to 2003.

Negwer has served as a vice chair on the executive committee of the Drake Group since 2004.

Negwer has served on multiple boards including the Ferguson Commission, the Ferguson Center Committee, the Ferguson Business District, and the Reinvest North County Advisory Board.

NCI is a regional development organization, which acts as a catalyst to define and advocate economic and community development for North St. Louis County. NCI was established in 1977. The Board is composed of community leaders and business owners. Scott Negwer, President, Negwer Materials, Inc., is North County Incorporated’s chairman of the board of directors for 2017.
