Lane Closures Through July 28

Lane Closures on I-64, I-70 and Route 364 to Impact St. Charles County Motorists

Drivers heading in and out of St. Charles County need to be aware of some lane closures this weekend on I-64, I-70 and Route 364.

The biggest impact will be on I-70 where crews will be setting girders for the new Fairgrounds Road bridge on Friday and Saturday night.  Crews will close up to three lanes on eastbound I-70 at Route 94 on Friday, July 22 starting at 10 p.m. with intermittent full closures of 15 minutes each to move girders.  All lanes are expected to open by 8 a.m. Saturday.

On Saturday, July 23 at 10 p.m. crews will close up to three lanes on westbound I-70 at Fifth Street with short term closures as they swing the girders across the interstate.  Two lanes will also be closed on eastbound I-70.  Those lanes will reopen by 8 a.m. Sunday.

Other weekend impacts include:

  • Two lanes closed on westbound I-64 from Ballas to Route 340 on Friday and Saturday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
  • Up to three lanes closed on westbound Route 364 at Jung Station on Friday at 7 p.m. to Saturday at 10 a.m.
  • Up to three lanes closed on eastbound Route 364 at Jung Station from 9 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday.

Drivers are urged to give themselves extra time when traveling through these areas.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

  • I-44, St. Louis City, one lane closed eastbound and westbound from Southwest to Kingshighway through the end of the year.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, the ramp from Southwest to eastbound I-44 is closed through the end of the year.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, drivers cannot turn left from northbound Grand onto westbound I-44, or from southbound Grand onto eastbound I-44, through the end of the year.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the northbound ramp to westbound I-44 is closed through mid-August.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, one lane on the ramp from westbound I-64 across the Poplar Street Bridge to southbound is closed until December. One lane on southbound from the PSB to Lafayette is also closed until December.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the southbound ramp to 7th Street and the ramp from 7th Street to southbound are closed until December.
  • I-55, St. Louis County, one lane closed northbound and southbound over Reavis Barracks through summer.
  • I-64, St. Louis County, the right auxiliary lane is closed eastbound from Mason Road to I-270. Lane restrictions will continue through the fall.
  • I-64, St. Louis County, one lane closed on the north outer road between Mason and Maryville Centre Drive and between Maryville Centre Drive and Route 141 through summer.
  • I-64, St. Louis County, one lane closed on the south outer road between Savvis Parkway and Mason Road through summer.  The ramp from the south outer road to eastbound I-64 after Maryville Centre Drive is also closed.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, the north outer road (Dunn Road) just west of Lilac closed until late August.
  • I-70, St. Charles County, the ramp from Fifth Street to westbound I-70 is closed through August.
  • I-70, St. Charles County, the left lane is closed eastbound and westbound from Route 94 to Fifth Street until August.  The right lane eastbound is also closed between Route 94 and Fifth Street.
