MO_Bottom_Road_Closed_(2)_resized   The City of Hazelwood announced that Missouri Bottom Road from Tulip Tree Lane to St. Louis Mills Boulevard has been closed indefinitely for emergency repairs until further notice. No vehicles will be allowed on it and pedestrians are being asked not to walk on it for personal safety.

The Hazelwood School District has been notified and will continue to maintain bus routes to Hazelwood West Middle School for its students, which the district did starting on Monday.

Motorists are urged to take I-270 to Highway 370 as a detour route to the St. Louis Outlet Mall. All emergency crews are aware of the road closure, as well as MoDOT and the St. Louis County Highway and Traffic Department.

Road barricades will be placed at each end to block vehicle traffic. The Hazelwood Police Department will patrol the area and be on the lookout for violators as well.   Aubuchon Road has been closed due to the flooding situation. It will be reopened when the flood waters recede.
