Florissant Police Department Cracking Down on Drunk Drivers

The Florissant Police will be joining efforts with statewide law enforcement July 3-5, 2015 for an aggressive “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” crackdown which will include high-visibility enforcement throughout the St. Louis area.

The Florissant Police Department and its Officers will be aggressively looking for substance-impaired driving over the Fourth of July weekend holiday.

Far too many people across the nation get behind the wheel after consuming too much alcohol and/or drugs. The latest statistics from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) underscore the serious nature of the nation’s continuing impaired-driving epidemic.

“Drunk driving is simply not worth all of the consequences,” stated Chief Timothy Lowery. “Zero tolerance means zero tolerance: Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.” For more information, please visit www.saveMOlives.com.

The city of Hazelwood is also joiing the efforts to “drive sober” this holiday weekend.
