St Ferdinand Park Site for Document Shredding April 18

The 4th Annual Florissant Resident “Free Document Shredding Day” will be held Saturday, April 18 at the rear parking lot of St. Ferdinand Park from 9 a.m. to noon. Any sensitive tax, bank or financial records from home will be shredded professionally by the Cintas Document Management Company. The information will be destroyed so that it cannot be recognized or recreated, then the paper will be recycled.

Participants must bring their resident cards and are allowed up to 5 bags or boxes of bank statements, tax records, credit card statements, invoices, or other paperwork. The types of boxes accepted include copy paper boxes, banker boxes and shoe boxes. Bags can be shopping bags, grocery bags or trash bags. It is not necessary to remove names and addresses, paper clips, binder clips or staples. Three-ring binders, hanging file folders, CDs, DVDs and hard-bound books will not be accepted.

Meridian Waste Services has donated the cardboard recycle dumpsters for this event.
