Florissant Valley Historical Society to Host an Antique Appraisal Luncheon

Have you ever wondered what that family heirloom is worth? You will have an opportunity to find the answer at the Florissant Valley Historical Society Antique Appraisal Luncheon on Saturday, Jan. 31. This event will be held in the Sacred Heart Parish Center, 751 N. Jefferson St., Florissant. Appraisals will begin at 11 a.m. with lunch to follow.

Julie Nicolai will be our keynote speaker. She will discuss what makes an heirloom an antique. Julie is a CAGA Certified Appraiser and Accredited Jewelry Professional (GIA).

Tickets are $20. each that will include a catered luncheon and one appraisal by a professional antique appraiser. Additional appraisals will be available for $5 each. This luncheon is being presented to help fund the continuous maintenance needed for a piece of our shared American heritage. The Florissant Valley Historical Society is headquartered at Taille de Noyer, a historical home once owned by John Mullanphy and his descendents located on McCluer High School Campus.
