Ferguson Holiday Event will now be held this Sunday

Ferguson Northern Lights Celebration Rescheduled For December 14

 

The annual free holiday celebration will commence in downtown Ferguson’s Victorian Plaza, 20 S. Florissant Road, this Sunday, Dec.14 The event had been scheduled for Nov. 30, but was cancelled about the disturbances and damage on Nov. 24 after the announcement of of the Grand Jury decision.

This year’s theme is “Holidays Around the World.”

The line-up of activities include:

2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.              Holiday Market

2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.              Children’s Crafts

2:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.              Trackless Train Rides and Balloon Creations

2:30 p.m – 4:30 p.m.               Story Telling with Mrs. Claus

5:30 p.m – 6:30 p.m.               Santa Visit

5:30 p.m – 6:00 p.m.               Free cookies and hot chocolate

6:00 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.              Tree lighting ceremony

This year’s event is sponsored by Ferguson CityWalk, City of Ferguson, Ferguson Farmers Market, Home Depot, Sam’s Club, Hair Emporium, Hewkin Auto Body, UMB Bank, and Central Bank of St. Louis.
