Homeowners in Florissant facing possible foreclosures are encouraged to call City Hall at 839-7680 to prevent the problem.

Mayor Robert Lowery said the city has been on top of the situation and has been preventing Florissant properties from being foreclosed. “We ask anyone that maybe in this situation or coming close to it to call the city and we will assist you and hopefully prevent you from loosing your home,” said the mayor in a statement. “It is our obligation to provide every citizen the help they need.”

Lowery said the city has helped almost 100 people save their homes and offers a brochure “Tips for Avoiding Foreclosure.” Call 839-7680 for more information.
