Daughters of the American Revolution Come to Florissant

The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) has announced a new organizing chapter in the Florissant area. The DAR was founded in 1890 and currently has over 177,000 members serving their communities in the areas of Historic Preservation, Education and Patriotism.

Individuals interested in learning about the DAR can attend a Free Genealogy Workshop on Nov. 15 from 9 a.m. – noon at the Florissant Valley branch of the St. Louis County library. Refreshments will be available.
