Old Town Partners Still Accepting Booth Rentals For Oct. 12th Fall Festival

There is still time for booth rentals for the annual Florissant Old Town Fall Festival, planned all along rue St. Francois on Sunday, Oct. 12. 2014 marks the 17th year for this festival. Previous year’s attendance has been estimated at 35,000 people. The festival runs from 11 am until 5 p.m.

At the festival you will find music, food, dog show, chili cook-off, games booths, flea market, craft fair, German music, Cookie the Clown and a huge variety of food and product booths. At the Shrine you will find food, children’s activities, a flint knapper, and much more.

Musical entertainment, the Barber Shoppers, Curtis Buckhannon, Bryson Gerard, The Auberrys, Dan Sproat and others will be located on nearly every block of the 11 block festival. Other events include a lawn mower display and antique tractors and military vehicle display.

This year compliments of the Missouri Art’s Council and the Regional Arts Council we will be featuring The Ralph Butler Band.  Performances will be at 1 and 3 p.m. on the band shell on the Lawyers Building lot in the 100 block of St. Francois.

The committee is looking for new booths to participate to include the flea market, craft fair, game booths, not-for-profit organizations and sponsorships.
