Booth Space Available for Non-Profit Groups, Crafters, Vendors at Hazelwood Harvestfest

Non-profit groups looking for fund-raising opportunities, crafters wanting to sell their artwork and local businesses are some of the groups being recruited by event organizers for this year’s Hazelwood Harvestfest, scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 13, at Howdershell Park.

Booth space is being offered to them at bargain prices with the potential of maximizing their exposure to hundreds of people who attend this event on a yearly basis.

Non-profit groups interested in setting up a carnival game at Harvestfest to raise money for their cause can purchase booth space, approximately 12’ x 12’ in size, for only $35. There is no charge for booth space for charitable organizations if they want to just pass out informational literature. But they must provide their own tables, chairs and canopy or tent.

Every year, the Hazelwood Harvestfest features an arts and crafts section, which enables local crafters to showcase and sell their hand-made creations. Booth space for these individuals is discounted at a rate of $30.

Local businesses looking to build name recognition and network with prospective customers can purchase booth space for $35. These vendors, however, must bring their own tables, chairs and canopy or tent as well.

As evident by the success of Fair St. Louis, people who attend outdoor festivals like to eat. Event organizers for Harvestfest have already made arrangements with various food vendors to provide the following items: hamburgers; cheeseburgers; hot dogs; chips; pretzels; candy; funnel cakes; Ted Drewes ice cream cups; Papa Murphy’s pizza; kettle korn; pork steaks; and chicken breasts.

Any non-profit organization wanting to sell food items such as nachos, sno cones, kabobs, etc., as a fund-raiser are welcome to reserve booth space for $35. Those interested in reserving booth space for this year’s Hazelwood Harvestfest should contact the Parks and Recreation Office at (314) 731-0980.
