Incarnate Word Offers Soccer Camp July 14-17
The Incarnate Word Soccer Camp is going to be hosted in evening sessions and new Varsity coaching staff member Jennifer Mers will direct skills training and camp activities July 14 – 17 at IWA Field.
The Red Knights of Incarnate Word are pleased to announce the 2014 Soccer Camp this month at the home field on the school campus. The Red Knights have won 9 State Championships, the most of any program in Missouri, 24 consecutive District Titles, and have been ranked in the top 20 for 11 consecutive years.
The Camp will begin on Monday, July 14 at 6 p.m. and each session will conclude at 8:30 p.m., wrapping up on Thursday, July 17. Girls entering grades 6 – 9 are welcome and encouraged to participate. The goal is to provide young female athletes with an opportunity to learn and develop the fundamental skills of soccer through quality instruction. Emphasis will be on learning the skills required for future competition at the Junior High and High School level. Skills will be taught in large groups and on a one-to-one basis. Campers will be assisted by current IWA players during the camp.
Camp features will include a T-shirt, special awards, prizes and the spirited fun that comes along with being a Premier Girls High School program. The price for the camp is $80 and registration is currently underway.
