The Greater North County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Florissant co-sponsored the 26th Anniversary of the Chamber’s Business Showcase, featuring a “Taste of North County.”  The poular event was held Saturday March 22 at the James J. Eagan Community Center in Florissant. More than one thousand people attended the event where they had an opportunity to  learn more about the products and services that the 62 vendors offer to the community.  Special features  included a Kids Korner with activities for children, including a visit from Ronald McDonald,  face painting and Mike’s Balloon Creations.

For $5, visitors could sample food from 11 North County restaurants. This has become a big draw for the past two years at the event, which was moved to the Civic Center  last year to accommodate more people inside one large area.
