It’s Spring, Right? That Means March Bracket Madness

It’s hard to believe that Spring is finally here and the only reason I can tell is that it is College Basketball Tournament time, it is surely not by the weather. I am excited about this year’s brackets as there are surprise teams and surprise seeds all over the place.

Did you see the company putting up one billion dollars for a perfect bracket. Looking at it, it seems like maybe someone could do it but I heard that the chance is aboat  one in 1,000,000,000,000,000, 000 to do it. That’s a lot of zeroes.

I think they are pretty confident nobody can do it. I am pleased to see that the SLU Bilikens are in the bracket. Even though they played poorly down at  the end of the season , I think they have the type of team to go at least a few rounds.

This is great for recruiting no matter what happens.

Unfortunately as I watched the selection show, I kept watching for that black and gold Mizzou group to pop up but it wasn’t to be. Who would have ever thought that we would see SLU in and Mizzou out. It will be a great few weeks of basketball that will keep us on the edge of our seats. Even people who are not big basketball fans get caught up in the action.

Blues Continue Amazing Season

How about those Blues reaching the 100 point plateau with over 15 games to go. What a season for them. I was shocked when they left Halak go and brought in Miller but what a move that was. This team is on fire right now. I love to watch them play as the team has such fight in them. They can play with anybody’s style, hard and physical or the finesse game. This team will either go all the way or get knocked out in the first round. That’s the way the Blues have been for years. I really think though that this team has what it takes to bring home  the Stanley Cup to St. Louis.
